48” x 36” Oil on Wood Panel. Wired and ready to hang.

As an artist of the contemporary landscape, what truly captivates Wendy is the abstract quality of trees and the lines and shapes created by their trunks and branches. She uses a combination of brush and palette knife to explore the textures of her subject and to find an expression of movement, while being sensitive to the realistic patterns and colours of light. Wendy wants the viewer to see every brush of paint, to feel the motion of her palette knife and to visually experience all that inspires her.

Wendy is an elected member of the Ontario Society of Artists and the Society of Canadian Artists and has won many awards for her work including an Award of Excellence from the Society of Canadian Artists in 2016. Her work can be found in private collections in Canada and the US.
